ABOUT DAN CALLAHAN
ABOUT DAN: Dan Callahan has been a PGA Member for over. 25 years. Dan grew up in St. Paul, Mn and started golf at an early age. He improved his playing skills at Southview CC in West St Paul , Mn in the 1980’s. After attending college at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Fla, Dan began his pursuit to become a PGA Golf Professional. Dan was an Assistant Professional at Island View Golf Club in Waconia, Mn for 7 years before becoming the Head Golf Professional at Island View Golf Club for 21 years.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: Basic fundamentals, proper body motion, and understanding the importance of feeling the golf club during the swing and at impact will improve golfers of any level. Dan believes that having fun while learning and playing the game of golf is of the utmost importance.
PLAYING CAREER: Dan has competed successfully from Junior golf, amateur golf, and professional golf. His desire to continue to compete in golf events, as well as playing many social rounds of golf, contributes to his knowledge and desire to help all golfers improve their game through his golf instruction.
